About GGF

The UK-Tanzania Green Growth Facility (GGF) provides flexible, demand-led technical assistance to the Government of Tanzania, businesses, investors, and financial institutions to achieve private sector development goals and green growth outcomes in Tanzania. Specifically, GGF aims to expand investment capital, high value crop exports and carbon market financing.

GGF is a component of the British High Commission’s Productivity for Prosperity (P4P) Programme. It is implemented by Palladium and DevLearn.

  • Zanzibar: Establishing sustainable certification standards for the entire tourism industry.

  • Kilimanjaro & Kagera: Expanding high-value sustainable crop exports through Rainforest Alliance certification.

  • Arusha & Mbeya: Facilitating investment in carbon positive, regenerative, organic coffee exports.

  • Lindi, Mtwara, Morogoro & Ruvuma: Establishing and expanding villages conserving Tanzanian forests through carbon credit payments.

  • Iringa: Catalysing a new industry for carbon sequestration in Tanzania through biochar production.

  • Dar es Salaam & Dodoma: A range of interventions with public and private partners.

We are located in Kofisi Centre on Ghuba Rd. The entrance to our building is directly to the right of Salt Restaurant as you walk in from the parking lot. Our office is on the first floor.
